Dog Food

by Brigitte Smith on July 2, 2007

Welcome to the Dog Food section of Healthier Dogs.

It’s quite a topical issue right now, due to the massive dog food recalls that have gone on over the past few months.

What can we learn from this experience?

Well, primarily what I’ve been preaching for several years now over at Healthy Happy Dogs – most commercial dog foods are full of nothing but rubbish (and, as we’ve seen, very questionably sourced ingredients).

So what is the best dog food for your dog?

- Raw food (also known as the BARF diet)

- Fresh food

- A top quality premium dog food

- Home cooked dog food

Here in the Dog Food section of Healthier Dogs, you’ll be finding regular posts, articles, tips and information about healthier food for your dog, including information on raw dog food, home made dog food, plus dog food ingredients generally, dog food reviews, some dog food comparisons, the odd dog food recipe, and recommendations on some of the best quality premium dog foods for your dog.

We’ll also provide links to where you can purchase your dog food online, and have it delivered directly to your door.
