Popular Natural Dog Food Types

Holistic Natural Dog FoodDry dog food, also called kibble, is the most popular kind of dog food. It is also the easiest and most inexpensive to feed. But most kibble is far from the healthiest food to feed your dog. Always read the label to make sure that meat and not grains are the primary source of protein. Human grade whole meat such a chicken, beef, or lamb is the best, and should be listed first on the ingredient label. And just because a meat ingredient appears first does not mean it is the main ingredient. If the next two or more ingredients are grains, then the total grain content is very likely higher than the meat content.

Do you have any idea what it is costing me to feed Rex? Yes, I want him to have the very best food, why not . However, $9.00 lb. for lamb is insane. I’m not able to feed my beloved pet the best food. Have any other good ideas?

our dog is allergic to chicken, soybean, sorghum, oatmeal, tomato pomace, carrots, and peas. I cook her turkey mince and beef mince with macaroni added. However she is still itching so badly she sometimes takes a hunk out of her fur. I noticed on the macaroni packet it contains trace amounts of soy is this the same as the soybean she is allergic to? and could it be the cause of her itching still?
