Hi Gamuchirai,

Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate it.

As for the puppies - I would suggest that you give separate time to each one - 5 to 10 minutes at a time is plenty - do this several times a day if you can.

So take just one puppy, and talk to him/her, and put him/her a few feet away from you, and call them - "[name], come!". Try to get him/her to sit, and while you do this, make sure you say "[name], sit!", etc. Use that puppy's name over and over again, repeatedly. They will learn their names this way, rather than be confused over who is who!

Mind you, don't be surprised if all the puppies continue to come sometimes, when you call one of them even after they know for sure what their name is. My dogs occasionally both come when I call one of them - not because they don't know what their name is, but they think they might be missing out on something exciting!

Regards,
Brigitte

I wanted to find out about giving dogs names.I have three puppies and when I call one, they all respond. How do I make them know their names?

Thank You
