do you use the dry food designed for urinary tract infections…it is usually filled with junk….can you put the cranberry of their regular food?

My 9 month old Pom has had 2 urinary tract infections. on the first she was given medication for it. 2 days later it started again and they put her on another medication. I don't think this one is working either as she still urinates frequently but no blood and seems to still be a bit uncomfortable after 1 week. We feed her Pedigree puppy and JUST changed her to the adult one. Very happy and peppy though.
I'm at a loss as now the vet is saying she may have a stone. We are so broke right now, I don't know what to do
Could it be the Pedigree she has always been on and is there alot of grain in it.

I share your concerns. Personally I would feed fresh food myself, and you could try the supplement referred to above.

My dog has crystals in his urine. The vet gave me a prescription food which the main ingredient was rice corn chicken fat chicken meal and so on. The name of the food is ROYAL CANIN VETERINARY DIET URINARY
SO 14. i REALLY DIDN' LIKE THE IDEA OF THE CORN
